Useful work, within reach

Studio Vault.

Small fixes, lasting headroom.

A small Mac interruption. A recurring business task. A decision that needs a clearer path. Here, useful work starts with a defined scope and ends with a handoff you can understand.

Mac enhancements · Business tools · Defined engagements

A good tool earns its place.

A familiar nuisance or an important decision. A defined result and a clear handoff. The collection grows around work you can understand, assess, and use.

The first release

Keep your place
in the work.

Night Shift started with a real evening at the desk: a short pause, a dark screen, and a thought interrupted. Here is a repeatable way to set the pace yourself.

Mac enhancements / 001Package ready

Night Shift

v1

Set your display’s pace. Keep your train of thought.

A readable Bash tool for configuring idle display and system sleep on a Mac. Inspect your settings, preview the change, apply the wall-power configuration, and restore the saved power settings when you want to.

  • Stay with the workKeep the display awake during idle pauses while plugged in.
  • Keep a reversible setupSave the original timers before applying a persistent power configuration.
  • Know how to leave itInspect, preview, verify, and restore commands with a plain-language guide.
Read the scope before you choose

The package

Night Shift Bash source, run instructions, a settings snapshot and restore workflow, and a checklist for automatic locking and your bedtime routine.

A good fit

An owner-controlled Mac with macOS, an external power supply, and a user who is comfortable running a documented Terminal command. Permanent power changes require local administrator approval.

The lock-screen detail

Keeping an idle display awake is separate from requiring a password. You review the screen-saver delay and password policy in macOS; the guide helps you check them. macOS or the monitor can still turn the picture off after an explicit lock, lid close, or hardware event.

The boundary

One local power workflow. Device-management overrides, hardware faults, account recovery, and ongoing support are outside this package. An external monitor’s power button remains your choice at bedtime.

An independent BioInfo AI utility. Apple’s display color feature also uses the name Night Shift; this package controls power behavior.

More room in the collection.

These are scoped ideas in preparation. Availability and final scope will be confirmed before payment.

Rule 3 / Every exchange

Time has value.
Record it.

Each trade records 30 minutes of Jonathan’s time as its own ledger line: 100 GOLD / 100 USD, at a founder rate of 200 GOLD per hour (200 USD at today’s conversion).

How the founder share is accounted for

The founder share is separate from the artifact offer and actual delivery costs. Delivery costs are currently unmeasured. It applies equally to friends and strangers, whether a trade uses GOLD, money, or an accepted contribution. It is paid or credited only after approval and settlement.

The published customer fees remain 29 GOLD self-service and 79 GOLD guided. The founder share is a cost allocation, with no additional customer charge. Those fees leave 71 / 21 GOLD of the founder share to fund, respectively, before other delivery costs. The ledger records the funding gap; it does not claim the share is fully funded or paid.

This allocation promises no extra live call. Guided service has its stated scope and separately agreed appointment. Accepted contributions record what was received and its reuse rights; they do not create cash or spendable GOLD. Read the retained Rules of the Trade.

A permanent choice

One paid code.
One private entry.

Browse the collection whenever you like. A paid product code opens one private entry for its named eligible package. Confirming your choice spends that code and permanently closes the private session.

  1. 01
    Fund the agreed product

The team verifies your payment and GOLD funding, applies the full product fee, and issues a new paid product code.

  2. 02
    Read before you choose

Check the scope and package details before confirmation. The choice is final; the code has no reuse or recovery.

  3. 03
    Save the initial handoff

The confirmation response carries your ZIP once. Save the received file during this visit. Reloading does not reopen the code or redeliver the package.

Your choice is recorded before file delivery. If the connection is interrupted, that paid code may already be spent. A new paid code is required for another private entry; the old choice has no retry or recovery.

PRIVATE REDEMPTIONChecking connection

Open your place

Enter the new paid product code issued after your GOLD-funded purchase. This paid entry delivers the one named Night Shift ZIP, not the whole catalogue. Your code stays out of the page address and browser storage.

Use the complete paid code. It opens one private entry; confirmation spends it permanently.
